Saying Goodbye

I am definitely not a person who really into sports. But there is one athlete who introduced me into the world football and created a fan out of me...yes, Brett Favre. And this week, I join my fellow "cheeseheads" in saying farewell to him and his many years in Green Bay. Following him through the years finally made me understood why people got excited to "watch the game" on Sundays. You could tell he loved playing the game often with the joy of a little boy, he took risks, and I always used him as a good example of sportsmanship and leadership with my students. When it comes time for the fall season to start, I don't think I'll be as excited to get on my computer Monday morning here in Thailand to find out how the Packers did.
