Wedding (groom's side)
Preparing food for the wedding and rituals. Slitting the throats of the chickens to kill them.
Dipping the freshly killed chickens in boiling water to soften their skin.
Plucking the chickens.
Buying a pig to slaughter.
Tying up the pig and getting ready to kill it. A picture can't capture the ear piercing squealing noises.
Cutting up the pig and using EVERY part.
Cleaning out the intestines.
Eating fresh blood and other inner organs.
Boiling the fat and making a simple soup by adding green vegetables.
The groom and his friends preparing strings for the "string tying" ceremony.
Older men gathering to drink and to inspect the chicken carcass as a way of fortune telling for the new couple.
The local shaman performing a few other wedding rituals.
