This is the passion fruit vine near my house.
The blossoms on it are really beautiful. 
Here is some fruit ready for pickin'. 
Passion fruit looks a little disgusting when you open it up. I read my friend's blog for instructions on how to make juice. I scooped out the pulp, blended it with water to try and get it separated from the seeds. Added more water and some sugar. 
Here is the finished project. Very refreshing! 
A meal out with my students to celebrate the end of the term. 
For our end of term party, we had some visitors from Texas and Oklahoma who gave the students a roping demonstration.

Thursday of Easter Week, I enjoyed sharing a Passover meal and communion with a few teammates and friends and reflecting on the history of the Passover meal that Jesus ate with his disciples.
The Resurrection Party that we invited students too included outdoor games...
...a puzzle, games, and craft....
...and our host shared the story of Jesus through some pictures and the "wordless" book. 
Easter morning (after the sunrise: ) our team went to one of the nearby hills to have breakfast, communion, singing, and scripture readings.
I stayed on the hill a bit longer and enjoyed some time for reflecting and enjoying the beautiful view that is so green this time of year!
A lot of people have friends and relatives over for meals.

Other foods included...sticky rice, blood, spicy sauces, fresh greens, spicy salad...
A different meal...the host is sprinkling everyone with water as a new year greeting and blessing...
New Year is a time for visiting your elders. We went to the home of my friends' great aunt who is bed ridden. The family brought a bowl of water to pour over her hands as they gave her a blessing.
It is also a time for visiting the temple. Here the monk is tying strings on a little girls' first new year.
This man has come to the temple to make merit by pouring water over the buddha. 
This monk is on his way to visit a holy cave. The children are prepared for new year's fun with their water guns. 
My friend and I and her siblings enjoyed walking/ looking at other parts of the cave.
Much of new years revolves around water. These kids are ready to drench any motorcycle who rides past.
Those who have trucks pile them full of bodies and buckets and ride around town throwing water and having it thrown on them.
