Our school had its first weeklong English Camp this past month. We had 13 students come out each evening for 4 hours. The activities included English assignments, songs, games, making a meal and eating together. Our craft for the week was a pinata, which was a brand new idea to the students. My group made a bird, which looked a bit sad with its legs sticking straight up into the air :) On the last day we filled them with candy and notes and broke them open. I think a few of the students were a bit shocked that we destroyed what they worked so hard to make :) But the scrambling for candy part made up for it!
